PUNCHY ACIDITY, GENTLE FLORALITY, SLIGHT FUNKY TROPICAL NOTES
The first time we tasted this coffee as a sample, it blew us away with its punchy acidity, gentle florality, and slight funky tropical notes. It was the overwhelming favorite on the table, and we were excited to reserve a handful of bags.
Luis Agreda, the producer of this lot, and his family are relatively new to growing coffee. They're from the municipality of Buesaco, which, until about ten years ago, was the center of much armed conflict. Once the government regained control of the region, small producers like the Agredas were able to start growing coffee.
Colombia Luis Agreda will make a lovely pour-over, Chemex, or everyday drip coffee. If you've liked our washed Colombian coffees in the past, we highly recommend giving this one a try!
